Had only 2 lessons today, from 3pm - 5pm. 1st one at 3am is IPTN quiz. Studied for it earlier this week leaving a bit which I read through this morning. The 1st quiz for this module was very terrible for me, scoring an all time low, so this time I told myself not to fumble again.  No mood to study in the morning as I caught a flu. So I called Kah Wei down to have lunch with me at the usual kopitiam at my house downstairs. 2 other friends came down as well. Chatted till 2.40pm before leaving for school with the 2 friends.
Was late for about 15min for the quiz which started at 3pm. Went into the tutorial room to take my quiz. Handed up at about 4pm. I told my lecturer to mark my paper first. Only left 4 people in the tutorial room at that time, so he proceeded to mark my paper. 1st twenty questions with helping words, which can be used more than once, I got 1 question wrong out of the 20. As for the rest... all hit jackpot! Happy!
After that was Java mock quiz. After that, Matthew suggested printing past year exam papers. So we to the lab to print. After that, I was supposed to meet secondary school friends at Ang Mo Kio Central's Mos Burger to collect my birthday present at around 5.45pm.  Matthew and Jayson accompanied me there. Collected my presents from them and chatted a while before leaving home. Actually, it's my Mother's birthday today - 3rd October, but no celebration. Thought of treating her eat a big meal but was re-scheduled for the coming Sunday.
After dinner, I went to Ribin's house to help him re-format his computer. Spent a few hours there till 3am! His SCV cable modem simply can't be assigned a IP Address from StarHub's DHCP server. We called the technical support but they can't solve our problem over the phone, despite doing nothing wrong. In the end, the technical support department said that they will send their people over to Ribin's house to check on the next working day, which is Monday. I think it cause his sister some problem with her project without an Internet Connection over the weekend. Felt a little guilty, but then we've tried our best already..

Today had an off day in school, no lessons. So agreed with Marcus to head down to Sim Lim Square to buy parts to build my new computer. I just told him the specifications I need and he helped me to search for the necessary parts. On top of that, I bought a very nice casing, everything adds up to slightly more than $1000 dollars. Just within my budget.
Then we took cab back to my house to fix the brand new system. His friend also bought 1 as well. So Marcus fixed both at my house. After everything is done, powered on, there's a beeping sound coming out from the mainboard's built-in speaker, and nothing shows up on the monitor. He tried to troubleshoot but to no avail. So he proceeded to fix his friend's system, the same thing happened. As it was getting late, they all went home first, and he agreed to come another day to check for me again. Meanwhile, his friend's system was able to work perfectly when he brought back! However, mine is still struggling! Really don't know what is going on. At night I even tried tried to take out the processor chip and tried all other means but to no avail. Now have to wait for Marcus to come again... Must treat him eat a big meal after everything is settled.

Monday was a normal day in school. Today went for blood donation drive in school. Matthew said he wants to go, so I also went to donate as well. We were joking around, trying to challenge each other to compete who can finish donating 1 big packet of blood in a shorter period of time. We took about the same time to finish donating, roughly around 4 minutes. The surprised nurse said 'very solid, finished in just 4 minutes!'
Felt a great  sense of achievement after donating. It was my 2nd time donating in less than a year.
